  A Wonderful Trip To New Zealand! What could be better? Exploring New Zealand with dancing friends and a personal Kiwi guide! It was the trip of a lifetime, as I’d always wanted to visit New Zealand. To do it with friends and Christine with her local knowledge made it perfect. There were only eight of us in a twelve passenger van so we were very comfortable. Our itinerary, devised by Christine, was extremely well organized.We danced in at least four halls and one living room. The local dancers planned a number of dances around our schedule. We stayed in private homes, a B&B that was part of a working dairy farm, a historic, elegant hotel with excellent hiking trails nearby, a motel and at Garden Court Suites.   I had a marvelous trip with very compatible people.   Representing four Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society branches in California...we experienced an 11-day excursion, which was built around an Scottish Country Dancing theme. Planned and coordinated by Christine, this allowed us to take advantage of four opportunities to dance with Kiwis. In addition, there were detailed tours of four cities and the countryside from an expert guide and driver, Christine herself. Many memories gained and a wonderful experience to dance with our SCD colleagues from around the world. Staying with native hosts was an added bonus! The traveling group offers a sincere thank you to Christine for her hard work in planning and organizing this special excursion. Maybe interested in a future trip? Definitely contact Christine!
